چکیده
Many quantitative approaches to the dynamical scrambling of information in quantum systems involve study out-of-time-ordered correlators (OTOCs). In this paper, we introduce an algebraic OTOC ($\mathcal{A}$-OTOC) that allows us generalized subsystems under channels. For closed systems, framework was recently employed unify information-theoretic notions operator entanglement, coherence-generating power, and Loschmidt echo. The main focus work is provide a natural generalization these techniques open systems. We first show that, for unitary dynamics, $\mathcal{A}$-OTOC quantifies notion scrambling, namely between subalgebra observables its commutant. on other hand, find competition global environmental decoherence local information. illustrate interplay by analytically studying various illustrative examples algebras To complement our analytical results, perform numerical simulations two paradigmatic systems: PXP model Heisenberg XXX model, dephasing. Our results reveal connections with many-body scars stability decoherence-free subspaces.

Scrambling of Quantum Information in Quantum Many-Body Systems
We systematically investigate scrambling (or delocalizing) processes of quantum information encoded in quantum many-body systems by using numerical exact diagonalization. As a measure of scrambling, we adopt the tripartite mutual information (TMI) that becomes negative when quantum information is delocalized. We clarify that scrambling is an independent property of integrability of Hamiltonians...
متن کاملQuantum information scrambling and out-of-time-order correlators in finite open systems
Quantum information scrambling and chaotic behaviour in quantum systems are characterised by fourpoint out-of-time-order correlators (OTOCs) of the form , where A, B, C and D are local Hermitian operators. Such quantities are also expected to distinguish between many-bodylocalised and many-body-delocalised phases of disordered interacting systems. This talk is devoted to OTOCs...
متن کاملMultipartite quantum correlations in open quantum systems
In this paper, we present a measure of quantum correlation for a multipartite system, defined as the sum of the correlations for all possible partitions. Our measure can be defined for quantum discord (QD), geometric quantum discord or even for entanglement of formation (EOF). For tripartite pure states, we show that the multipartite measures for the QD and the EOF are equivalent, which allows ...
متن کاملTransitionless quantum driving in open quantum systems
We extend the concept of superadiabatic dynamics, or transitionless quantum driving, to quantum open systems whose evolution is governed by a master equation in the Lindblad form. We provide the general framework needed to determine the control strategy required to achieve superadiabaticity. We apply our formalism to two examples consisting of a two-level system coupled to environments with tim...
متن کاملTunneling in open quantum systems
Processes involving quantum tunneling can be found in a huge variety of physical and chemical systems, ranging in length from the mesoscopic scale of a few microns to the subatomic scale of a few fermi. It has been realized already three decades ago that thereby the interaction of the tunneling degree of freedom with environmental degrees of freedom plays a crucial role. Namely, any realistic d...
